No support for Windows 7 - upgrade now to stay secure

Did you know Windows 7 support has ended?Windows-7-EOL-800x450-768x432 credit MFG Managed Encryption.jpg

This means that the one in four users that are still running Windows 71 no longer get software and security updates, putting these users at greater risk of viruses and malware according to the Microsoft website.

So what should you do?

If you haven’t already, you need to upgrade your PC and stay secure with Windows 10.

Computers running Windows 7 will still work but are less secure and therefore Microsoft is urging people to move to Microsoft 10. It’s possible to run Windows 10 on old PCs but Microsoft are not recommending taking this route. “In order to run Windows 10 PCs must have a 1GHz processor, 16GB of hard drive space, and 1GB of RAM memory.”

Glemnet can help.

As a silver Microsoft Partner, Glemnet can provide your business with any new hardware required, upgrade to Microsoft 10 and provide round the clock IT support if required.
